This painting was made with a Chinese calligraphy brush and ink. It was made with reference to a drawing in my sketchbook, made at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver. I saw ducks at the migratory duck pond, dipping their beaks, and bathing in the water. They were on a long journey south, to spend the winter in Mexico.

This painting is made on Hahnemuele toned watercolor-paper with an even, fine-grained texture. It is of A4 size (8.5×11”). The original painting will arrive with a Letter of Authenticity to tell its story and a personal note of thanks.
