This painting was made with a Chinese calligraphy brush and ink on brown art paper. It was made with reference to a drawing in my sketchbook, made last year in Blaine (WA) at the US-Canadian border. I saw a person walking their dog by the ocean, a few minutes before dark clouds rolled in and it started to rain.

This painting is made on Hahnemuele toned watercolor-paper with an even, fine-grained texture. It is of A4 size (8.5×11”). The original painting will arrive with a Letter of Authenticity to tell its story and a personal note of thanks.
